Qualifications

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Solid math skills and strong communication abilities are required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to read and write in English and work with shipping documents.
• ITAR awareness and government regulation knowledge preferred.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages all logistical details for outbound shipments processed by carriers.
• Obtains quotes and selects vendors for freight and forwarding services.
• Coordinates with internal and external contacts on shipments.
• Investigates and resolves shipping or paperwork issues.
• Prepares documents such as invoices, bills of lading, and shipping statements.
• Ensures accuracy of shipments and packaging for timely deliveries.
• Maintains ITAR compliance and other regulations.
• Ships materials via FedEx and UPS.
• Files freight claims and tracks them weekly.
• Maintains inventory of shipping supplies.
