Job summary

The company seeks a Shipping Administrator to manage outbound shipments, coordinate with carriers, and handle paperwork and ITAR compliance from its Swedesboro, NJ location. Responsibilities include vendor selection, quote management, and ensuring accurate documentation, with a focus on timely deliveries and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Solid math skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of UPS and FedEx software.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• ITAR and government regulations knowledge preferred.
• Experience tracking international shipments is a plus.
• Forklift/side-loader certification preferred.
• Must be able to pass drug and background checks.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all logistical details for outbound shipments with outside carriers and internal Fleet.
• Obtain quotes and select vendors for freight and freight forwarding services.
• Coordinate with internal and external contacts on shipments.
• Investigate and resolve shipping or paperwork issues.
• Prepare invoices, bills of lading and shipping statements.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of shipments and packaging for timely deliveries.
• Maintain ITAR compliance and other regulations.
• Ship materials by FedEx and UPS.
• File freight claims and track them weekly; resolve disputes.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
