Job summary

Cubic Corporation is hiring a Director of Service and Release Management in the United States. This senior leader will direct a multi-disciplinary team and own delivery governance, release integrity, and change management across Global Services.

The role partners with regional Customer Success heads and SDMs to ensure service performance translates into customer confidence in live environments. The Director drives maturity and scalable processes, ensuring consistent execution across programs,

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in service delivery, program management, or technology operations roles within complex, enterprise environments.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing multi-disciplinary operational or delivery teams.
• Deep working knowledge of ITIL practices, particularly Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management, and how they integrate in a live service environment.
• Proven ability to lead release governance, delivery planning, and operational readiness across lower and production environments in high-availability settings.
• Experience coordinating delivery across engineering, infrastructure, operations, and third-party vendors in a matrixed organization.
• Strong track record of working directly with customers and customer-facing teams, with executive presence to represent operational complexity credibly.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of SDMOs, Project Managers, and Release Managers across the Global Services portfolio.
• Define career development paths and capability-building plans for each function.
• Set performance expectations, escalation standards, and ways of working across the team.
• Bridge delivery execution with customer-facing teams and regional Heads of Customer Success.
• Own the maturity roadmap for Service Delivery, Project Management, and Release Management.
• Own the forward release and change calendar across programs and environments.
• Ensure governance standards for releases, go/no-go decisions, and post-launch validation.
