Job summary

Cubic Corporation's Transportation Systems division seeks a Director, Service and Release Management to lead the operational delivery, governance, and release integrity of live services across the Global Services portfolio. You will manage SDMOs, PMs, and Release Managers, partner with regional CS heads, and drive maturity, standardized processes, and proactive communication with customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Engineering, Operations, or Business.
10+ years in service delivery, program management, or tech operations.
5+ years in a senior leadership role managing multi-disciplinary teams.
Proven ability to lead release governance and operational readiness.
Deep ITIL knowledge and experience with incident, problem, change, and release management.
Experience coordinating delivery across engineering, infrastructure, and vendors.

Responsibilities

Lead SDMOs, Project Managers, and Release Managers across the Global Services portfolio.
Set performance expectations, accountability standards, and resourcing plans.
Bridge delivery execution with regional customer success and partner engagement.
Represent the function in customer forums, executive briefings, and governance forums.
Own the forward release and change calendar and ensure end-to-end readiness.
Drive governance standards, playbooks, and repeatable processes across functions.
Embed customer health metrics into daily execution and reporting.
Manage escalations with clarity, coordinating across teams and vendors.
