Job summary

Cubic Corporation is seeking a Director, Service and Release Management to lead Operational Service Delivery across Global Services and ensure release integrity for live and in-flight services. The role directs SDMOs, Project Managers, and Release Managers, partnering with Customer Success Heads and regionals to drive performance and customer trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Operations, or Business (or equivalent)
• 10+ years in service delivery, program management, or tech operations in enterprise settings
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience uplifting maturity with process, governance, and execution standards
• Deep ITIL knowledge: Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management
• Proven ability to lead release governance and operational readiness
• Experience coordinating delivery across engineering, infrastructure, operations, and vendors
• Strong client-facing experience with executive-level communication

Responsibilities

• Lead SDMOs, Project Managers, and Release Managers across the Global Services portfolio.
• Define career development paths and capability-building plans for each function.
• Own maturity roadmap for Service Delivery, Project Management, and Release Management.
• Coordinate change intake and governance across programs and functions.
• Represent the Service and Release Management function in senior leadership forums and governance committees.
• Ensure post-release stabilization and timely issue resolution across environments.
