Job summary

Cubic Corporation seeks a Director of Service and Release Management to lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering live and in-flight services. You will drive governance, release integrity, and change management across environments to sustain customer confidence.

You will partner with regional teams, ensure escalations are resolved, and shape the maturity of the service delivery organization while maintaining strong executive presence with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, engineering, operations, business, or related field.
• 10+ years in service delivery, program management, or technology operations in complex enterprise environments.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of SDMOs, Project Managers, and Release Managers; set performance expectations and resourcing plans.
• Bridge delivery with regional customer-facing teams; manage escalation resolution and customer communications.
• Own the maturity roadmap; establish standard processes and playbooks; embed customer health metrics.
• Act as senior escalation point; coordinate resolution across SDMOs, Tech Ops, engineering, and vendors.
• Own a rolling 3–6 month release calendar; coordinate change intake and ensure readiness across environments.
• Chair readiness reviews; enforce governance standards; manage post-release stabilization.
• Assess delivery capacity and risks; provide forward-looking capacity views to leadership.
• Collaborate with Global Tech Ops, Customer Success Operations, Technical Account Management, and others.
