Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities across complex projects. You will guide project teams, maintain schedules, and ensure alignment with contract requirements while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering-related field, 10+ years of experience, and CCP certification. You will leverage your cost knowledge, data analysis, and strong communication to drive quality decisions and deliverables

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Ten years of relevant experience in cost control and project estimation.
Certified Cost Professional (CCP) certification required.
Knowledge of cost data, reporting, and control processes.
Proficiency with multiple discipline software applications.
Strong communication, leadership and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Assists in developing and implementing requirements for cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs, and reports.
Prepares cost data for projects, proposals and contract negotiations.
Assist with scope change management.
Determines scope definition requirements for a discipline and coordinates data to conform to the overall estimate plan.
Develops quantity takeoffs for a discipline or specialty and applies unit rates.
Prepares budgets and cost reports.
Collects and classifies cost engineering data.
Performs data analysis and development.
Performs other duties as directed by the Project Manager / Supervisor / Manager.
