Job summary

Deckers Brands is seeking a Senior Manager to lead global retail training and communications for UGG and HOKA. You will define the vision, translate business priorities into scalable learning experiences, and partner with regional teams to ensure consistent, locally relevant programs across a global footprint.

Responsibilities include designing mobile-first, micro-learning content, leveraging AI for personalization and localization, and measuring impact through KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, instructional design, retail training, or learning innovation, including work in a global or highly matrixed organization.
• Demonstrated success building enterprise learning strategies and translating business priorities into measurable experiences for frontline employees.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools, rapid-authoring, video-editing, animation, digital content platforms, and LMS/LXP platforms.
• Retail experience strongly preferred; global localization and accessibility experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the global retail learning vision, multi-year roadmap, and operating model for UGG and HOKA, aligned to business priorities and frontline needs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to convert business needs into learning outcomes.
• Use learner feedback, performance data, and business insights to identify capability gaps and prioritize solutions.
• Design learning across service, product, selling, operations, leadership, onboarding, and strategic transformation initiatives.
• Create mobile-first journeys using micro-learning, short-form video, scenario practice, peer learning, live facilitation, and performance support.
• Develop reusable standards, templates, toolkits, and workflows for rapid creation of high-quality content.
• Build a culture of experimentation by testing emerging learning methods, technologies, and content formats.
