Job summary

Deckers Brands is seeking a Sr. Manager, Retail Training & Communications - Global to drive the learning strategy for UGG and HOKA retail teams. The role oversees global learning programs, governance, and content lifecycle, ensuring scalable, effective experiences for frontline staff.

You will lead cross-functional efforts, design mobile-first learning journeys, and apply AI to personalize content while supporting executive communications and regional localization. Remote US-friendly.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, instructional design, retail training, or learning innovation
• Experience building enterprise learning strategies and scalable experiences for frontline employees
• Experience with micro-learning, mobile-first content, short-form video, and digital performance support
• Strong stakeholder influence across brands, functions, regions, cultures, and languages

Responsibilities

• Own the global retail learning vision, multi-year roadmap, and operating model for UGG and HOKA
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into learning outcomes
• Use learner feedback and data to identify capability gaps and prioritize solutions
• Design learning across service, product, selling, operations, leadership, onboarding, and transformation initiatives
• Create mobile-first journeys using micro-learning, video, scenario practice, and performance support
• Develop standards, templates, and workflows for rapid content creation
• Apply AI to accelerate development, personalize learning, and translate content
• Manage learning technology and vendor partnerships including LMS
• Own content calendar, governance standards, and lifecycle
• Measure effectiveness through participation, completion, knowledge, and business KPIs
• Support executive retail communications and updates
