Job summary

Deckers Brands is seeking a Sr. Manager, Global Retail Training & Communications to set the vision for learning across UGG and HOKA.

You will create globally consistent, locally relevant programs and lead mobile-first, micro-learning initiatives with AI-enabled enhancements. You will partner with regional teams to translate business priorities into scalable solutions, manage content lifecycles, and measure impact through KPIs while partnering with executive communications for high-priority

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field or experience.
• 7+ years in learning and development, global or matrixed environments.
• Experience building enterprise learning strategies with measurable impact.
• Experience creating micro-learning and mobile-first content.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and rapid authoring for content.
• Retail experience preferred; localization and accessibility a plus.
• Strong English communication, stakeholder influence, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the global retail learning vision, multi-year roadmap, and operating model.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate needs into outcomes.
• Use data to identify capability gaps and prioritize solutions.
• Design learning across service, product, selling, ops, leadership and onboarding.
• Create mobile-first journeys with micro-learning and short-form content.
• Develop standards, templates, and workflows for rapid content creation.
• Experiment with emerging methods and AI-enabled personalization.
• Manage learning tech and vendor partnerships (LMS).
• Oversee content calendar, governance, and lifecycle.
• Measure success via participation, completion, knowledge, and business KPIs.
