Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Global Product Support Engineer in the Portland area, working within the Global Products Group to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex semiconductor equipment. You’ll support field engineers, technicians, and customers, with travel up to 25–30% worldwide.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 2+ years of experience; strong English communication and problem‑solving skills are essential. On‑site Flex and travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of related experience or advanced degree.
• Experience with electro‑mechanical systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel diagnosing and debugging complex equipment.
• Respond when first-line support cannot isolate or fix problems.
• Report design, reliability, and maintenance issues to design/ software teams.
