Job summary

Lam Research seeks a Global Product Support Engineer to backstop field engineers, technicians and product support teams. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and debug complex semiconductor equipment, delivering swift action to keep customers productive.

The role requires Etch process experience and strong communication, with collaboration across cross-functional teams. Hybrid on-site/remote work and travel up to 20% are supported by Lam.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a Master’s; or a PhD with 3 years.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong people skills with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to field process engineers and product support personnel for Etch chambers.
  • Report process-related enhancements and continuous design improvements to engineering.
  • Travel up to 15–20% to support customers and installations.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor colleagues on projects.
