Job summary

Lam Research in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Global Product Support Engineer who serves as the backbone of field technical support, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex semiconductor equipment to keep customers running.

You will lead escalations, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and communicate with customers to deliver timely updates and resolutions, with travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; 8+ years related experience; travel up to 50% in some roles.
• Excellent written/verbal communication, fluent in English, and strong presentation skills.
• Capable of structured problem solving (preferably using 8D methodology).
• Teamwork and ability to establish successful relationships in a multicultural environment with external and internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Escalations: Primary escalation point for Type-3 tickets; drive resolution across CFT; provide support by phone and travel if needed.
• Account/Customer Interaction Travel: Prepares and delivers updates to customer technical teams; onsite project management support; chairs weekly meetings with key accounts.
• Travel: Comfortable traveling up to 25–50% of the time and supporting projects in the field.
