Job summary

Lam Research Corporation seeks a Global Product Support Engineer to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug complex semiconductor equipment in collaboration with field engineers and customers. You will be the primary escalation point for high-severity tickets and coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve issues swiftly.

You will participate in first-in-fab and first-in-region installs, contribute to JDP and Beta installs, and create documentation for field service engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) and relevant work experience.
• 8+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Structured problem solving using 8D methodology.
• Ability to travel up to 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point for Type-3 tickets and drive cross-functional resolution across SQAD, HW, Process, and KAT.
• Support first-in-fab and first-in-region installs; share responsibility for JDP and Beta installs and provide ongoing support.
• Provide onsite project management and customer updates; travel as needed to meet customer timelines and project milestones.
