Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions in Austin, TX is seeking a Global Product Line Manager for Cable Backplane Systems. You will own the full P&L for the OverPass cable assembly portfolio, drive growth, and partner with global sales and engineering to capture opportunities worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering required.
• MBA or MS preferred.
• 2+ years of product management and business development experience.
• 3+ years in the interconnect industry preferred.
• Strong communication skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams globally.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute strategy to launch and grow the assigned major product line.
• Drive new business development in new markets and customers for the product line.
• Collaborate with global sales, field application engineering and marketing to develop tools and support material.
• Drive product training and sales promotions to win design opportunities.
• Understand current industry applications and map future trends into a product plan.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and quality to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
