Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Global Product Line Manager for Cable Backplane Systems in Austin, TX. You will own the P&L, shape product strategy, and drive growth with global sales and engineering teams.

You will build roadmaps, translate market needs into requirements, and develop go-to-market plans while expanding in new markets and managing pricing, margins, and ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering; MBA/MS preferred.
• 2+ years in product management and business development.
• 3+ years in interconnect industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Formulate strategy to launch and grow the assigned major product line, including roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
• Drive new business in new markets and expand opportunities in existing customer base.
• Collaborate with global sales, field application engineering, and marketing to develop tools and support for design wins.
• Lead product training and promotions to pursue new opportunities.
• Understand industry trends and map them to a product plan.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and meeting customer requirements.
• Forecast bookings, pricing strategies, and ROI; manage lifecycle and margins.
