Job summary

Intuit seeks a Corporate Counsel, Privacy Compliance to lead and mature our global privacy program. You will assess legal risk, provide practical guidance to stakeholders on data use, and collaborate with Product, Engineering and Legal to build scalable compliance processes powered by modern tooling.

Reporting to the Head of Privacy Regulatory Compliance, you will own DSR and PIAs across the US and internationally, translate evolving regulations into playbooks, and help advance privacy-by-design

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant legal experience (in-house and/or at a law firm).
• Strong working knowledge of US state and federal privacy laws (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, GLBA, etc.) and familiarity with international frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PIPEDA).
• Experience building, running, or maturing privacy programs.
• Technologically adept, with working fluency with AI and emerging technologies.
• Comfort engaging directly with technical stakeholders on data flows, system design, and engineering trade-offs.
• Proven ability to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical, scalable policies, frameworks, and guidelines.
• A learning mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity as laws and technology continue to evolve.
• Concise and efficient communicator.
• JD and Bar admission in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Manage privacy risk and impact assessments (PIA) program, including governance and workflows.
• Own and evolve data subject rights (DSR) compliance across US and globally.
• Drive improvement of privacy compliance tooling and processes, including automation opportunities.
• Advise on privacy-by-design principles to new and evolving technologies.
• Act as a trusted privacy SME to cross-functional teams.
• Translate regulations into practical, scalable compliance frameworks and training.
• Monitor global regulatory landscape, including AI privacy laws, and update programs accordingly.
• Build strong relationships across Legal, Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
