Job summary

Intuit’s Data Privacy team is seeking a Corporate Counsel, Privacy Compliance to mature our global privacy program. You will assess legal risk and provide practical guidance on responsible data use, partnering with technical and business stakeholders to implement scalable compliance processes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant legal experience (in-house and/or at a law firm).
• Strong working knowledge of US state and federal privacy laws (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, GLBA) and familiarity with international frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PIPEDA).
• Experience building, running, or maturing privacy programs.
• Technologically adept, with working fluency with AI and emerging technologies.
• Comfort engaging directly with technical stakeholders on data flows, system design, and engineering trade-offs.
• Proven ability to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical, scalable policies, frameworks, and guidelines.
• A learning mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity as laws and technology continue to evolve.
• Concise and efficient communicator.
• JD and membership in good standing with at least one US State Bar.

Responsibilities

• Manage privacy risk and impact assessments (PIA) program, including governance and workflows.
• Own and evolve data subject rights (DSR) compliance across US and globally.
• Drive improvement of privacy compliance tooling and processes.
• Advise on privacy-by-design principles to evolving technologies.
• Act as SME to cross-functional teams and provide actionable guidance.
• Translate complex regulations into practical frameworks, playbooks, and training.
• Monitor global regulatory landscape, including AI-specific laws, for program updates.
• Build relationships across Legal, Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
