Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring a Corporate Counsel, Privacy Compliance to help manage and mature our global privacy program.

Reporting to the Head of Privacy Regulatory Compliance, you will assess legal risk and guide stakeholders on responsible data use, working with Product, Engineering, and Legal to build scalable compliance processes. You will monitor regulatory changes, including AI-specific privacy laws, and translate developments into practical policies, playbooks, and training for

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant legal experience (in-house and/or at a law firm).
• Strong working knowledge of US state and federal privacy laws (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, GLBA) and familiarity with international frameworks (GDPR, PIPEDA).
• Experience building, running, or maturing privacy programs.
• JD and membership in good standing with at least one US State Bar.

Responsibilities

• Manage privacy risk assessments (PIA) program, governance, workflows, and compliance with CCPA's automated decision making.
• Own and evolve data subject rights (DSR) compliance across US and globally to meet CCPA/US state and GDPR requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of privacy tooling and processes, including automation for PIAs, risk assessments, and DSR fulfillment.
• Advise on privacy-by-design principles for data minimization, purpose limitation, transparency, and customer choice in new tech.
• Act as a trusted privacy SME to cross-functional teams, providing actionable guidance to enable smart risk.
• Translate complex privacy regulations into practical, scalable policies, frameworks, and training.
• Monitor global regulatory landscape including AI-specific privacy laws and translate developments into program updates.
• Build strong relationships across Legal, Product, Engineering, and Business to align on practical outcomes.
