Job summary

Userpilot is seeking a People Operations Specialist to join our Operations team and own the employee lifecycle end-to-end—from onboarding through offboarding—while supporting a distributed, international workforce across the US, Ireland, and contractor markets.

In this hands-on generalist role, you will manage payroll inputs, HRIS data accuracy, recruiting operations, policy documentation, and compliance with local employment laws.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in People Operations or HR Generalist roles.
• Experience supporting employees across multiple countries (US/EU/Ireland a plus).
• Knowledge of payroll fundamentals, PTO accrual structures, and benefits administration.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems.
• Strong understanding of employment compliance basics (EEO, GDPR, local labor law).
• Excellent written communication and policy drafting skills.
• High attention to detail and discretion with confidential data.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding and offboarding for employees and contractors across jurisdictions (US, Ireland, international).
• Administer payroll inputs and coordinate with finance/payroll providers regionally.
• Maintain HRIS data accuracy; ensure records are audit-ready.
• Manage recruiting operations: job postings, ATS, interview scheduling, communications.
• Draft and maintain HR documents: offers, contracts, policies, handbooks.
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws across jurisdictions.
• Support DSAR processes and data privacy obligations.
• Partner with managers on performance processes and policy questions.
• Contribute to compensation benchmarking and equity/pay-band maintenance.
