Job summary

Ent is seeking a People Operations Generalist in San Francisco to build and own HR processes across the US, UK, and Canada. You will manage onboarding, offboarding, policies, and HRIS administration while ensuring a smooth employee experience with a focus on automation and scalability.

The role requires 2–4 years of People Operations experience, strong communication, and comfort handling sensitive information. Hybrid/onsite flexibility is provided to accommodate SF commuting needs.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in People Operations, HR coordination, or employee programs.
• Ownership of operational HR workflows such as leave, accommodations, onboarding, or offboarding.
• Working knowledge of HR systems (HiBob, SequoiaOS, Checkr, Carta) and ability to learn new tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including employee-facing docs and internal HR communications.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to juggle multiple programs, timelines, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for employee questions across Slack, email, and ticketing; build self-serve resources.
• Own onboarding end to end, from pre-boarding logistics through 90 days; iterate each cycle.
• Run offboarding, conduct exit interviews, turn insights into action for leadership.
• Support HRIS (HiBob) as system administrator, including data integrity, workflows, permissions, and reporting.
• Support global benefits and perks across the US, UK, and Canada, including open enrollment and vendor relationships.
• Keep the company compliant across three countries, including I-9 verifications, employment documentation, and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
• Maintain and champion People policies.
• Build internal resource hub to promote self-service.
• Identify where AI/automation can replace manual work; document workflows.
• Turn one-off requests into repeatable processes to scale the function.
