Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Manager Project Manager to drive strategy and execute high-priority projects within the Global Payment Network. You will collaborate with stakeholders, lead an Agile team, and deliver value that impacts the company’s bottom line.

You will define requirements, manage roadmaps, and report sprint metrics while coaching a team of associates. This role requires strong communication and leadership across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience.
• 7+ years of Project Management experience.
• 2+ years of experience using Jira to manage requirements, lead planning and develop/utilize reporting to track metrics.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office and Google Productivity suites.
• 2+ years Agile, Scrum or Kanban project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define detailed requirements aligning with overall intent.
• Lead assigned Agile team to ensure delivery and acceptance requirements.
• Report metrics/KPIs on sprint results; build and share roadmaps for upcoming deliveries.
• Lead moderate to large projects and programs with strategic direction to teams and peers.
• Design, develop, and manage project plans in a dynamic environment; adjust to changing requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation to mitigate risk and meet timelines.
• Provide strategic and tactical partnership with project customers to drive delivery.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments.
• Demonstrate strong influencing skills to drive project/program efforts.
• Coach and develop a team of associates through leadership style.
