Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Manager, Project Management to drive strategy and execute high-priority projects in the Global Payment Network. You will work with smart colleagues to deliver results with a direct impact on the company’s bottom line, taking on responsibilities from day one and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

You will lead Agile teams, define requirements, track KPIs, and ensure timely delivery while coaching and developing associates through leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience.
• At least 7 years of Project Management experience.
• At least 2 years using Jira to manage requirements, lead planning and develop/report metrics.
• At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office and Google Productivity suites.
• At least 2 years Agile, Scrum or Kanban project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define detailed requirements that align with the overall intent.
• Lead assigned Agile team to ensure delivery and acceptance requirements.
• Report metrics/KPIs on sprint results; share roadmaps for upcoming feature delivery.
• Lead moderate to large projects and programs with strategic direction.
• Design, develop, and manage project plans in a dynamic environment and adjust for changing needs.
• Ensure proper documentation to mitigate risk and meet deadlines.
• Partner with project customers for strategic and tactical delivery.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure delivery commitments.
• Demonstrate strong influencing skills to drive project efforts.
• Showcase a track record of effective project management and team leadership.
