Job summary

Capital One in Riverwoods, IL is seeking a Project Manager for the Global Payment Network. You will drive strategy and execute on high priority projects, leading an Agile team and coordinating with stakeholders across the company to deliver results that impact the bottom line.

You will build detailed project plans, manage risk, and report KPIs while coaching team members and ensuring timely delivery in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Military experience.
• At least 7 Years of Project Management experience.
• At least 2 years of experience using Jira to manage requirements, lead planning and develop/utilize reporting to track metrics.
• At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office and Google Productivity suites.
• At least 2 years Agile, Scrum or Kanban project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define detailed requirements that align with the overall intent.
• Lead assigned Agile team to ensure delivery and acceptance requirements.
• Report out metrics / KPIs on results of sprints to key stakeholders; build and share roadmaps to provide awareness on upcoming feature delivery.
• Lead moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reports.
• Design, develop, and manage project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements.
• Ensure projects are documented to mitigate risk and delivered on time.
• Partner cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments.
• Exhibit influencing skills to drive project / program efforts.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management in dynamic environments.
• Display a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates.
