Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Specialist Solutions Architect within the AWS Specialist and Partner Organisation (ASP) in New York.

You will own end-to-end go-to-market initiatives for your technology domain, partnering with field and central teams to translate customer needs into scalable AWS solutions. You will provide advanced technical guidance to GTM teams and partners, shaping strategy and delivering enablement materials for field teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military.
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of contact center, or 2+ years of contact center experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the customer and partners; collaborate with field and central teams to bring customer feedback to product teams.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to your aligned GTM teams to unblock our partners delivering for our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
• Own the technical bar for specialist technical artifacts and standards.
• Collaborate with GTM colleagues to provide technical insights into GTM strategy and support field marketing to execute local technical events, campaigns, and customer engagements.
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.
• Guide and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to your customers. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to integrate new AWS solutions into customer architectures.
• Design and deliver practice build and continual improvement to our partners' business, ensuring partners are delivering architectures and implementations that meet or exceed the needs of our customers.
