Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) seeks a Specialist Solutions Architect within the ASP to drive end-to-end go-to-market strategy for public sector domains.

You will bring business and technical acumen to help government, education, healthcare, and nonprofit customers succeed and collaborate with partners to scale mission-driven solutions. You will work across AWS teams to shape technical artifacts, enable partners, and lead engagements at AWS events, summits, and educational campaigns.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Represent the voice of public sector customers and partners; curate feature and availability requests for mission-driven use cases.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to GTM teams to unblock partners delivering for government, education, healthcare, and nonprofit customers.
• Own the technical bar for specialist artifacts and standards with your team.
• Collaborate with GTM colleagues to provide technical insights and support field marketing for local events and engagements.
• Share best practices through blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public events.
• Guide internal experts; create enablement materials to help stakeholders integrate AWS solutions into missions.
• Design and deliver practice builds to ensure partners deliver architectures meeting public sector needs.
