Job summary

AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP) seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to lead the worldwide technical strategy for AWS Specializations, a broad portfolio that validates partner expertise and enables growth. You will define automation priorities, drive cross-functional programs, and enable scalable partner programs.

In this role you will collaborate with AWS business teams and partners to shape the future of specializations, launch new categories, and ensure program integrity.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• 3+ years design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Own the worldwide technical strategy for AWS Specializations and drive competency launches and automation.
• Design automation solutions (including AI/agent-based validation) to accelerate application processing.
• Build cross-functional mechanisms to improve partner experience and program integrity.
• Lead end-to-end program launches from requirements to post-launch success at flagship events.
• Navigate portfolio evolution including sunsetting legacy specializations and creating new categories.
• Liaise with go-to-market programs, AWS Marketplace, and partner qualification frameworks.
• Drive fraud detection and compliance to protect program credibility.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape the direction of specializations and align strategy with customer outcomes.
• Publish thought leadership about program changes, launches, and best practices to partners.
• Travel up to 25% for partner engagement and events.
