Job summary

Total Quality Logistics is seeking an International Logistics Coordinator for TQL Global in the United States. You will coordinate all aspects of ocean shipments—from booking to delivery—ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality service for our clients and partners.

In this role, you will communicate with carriers and vendors, prepare shipping documents, monitor shipments, and resolve issues to maintain exceptional customer experiences and accurate records across our global network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of ocean operations experience in freight forwarder or logistics.
• Knowledge of ocean freight docs, INCOTERMS and international trade practices.
• Proficiency in freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of ocean shipments, from booking through delivery, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Communicate with carriers, vendors and service providers to arrange shipment details and tracking.
• Prepare and review shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure proper clearance of shipments and resolve compliance issues as needed.
• Coordinate with overseas partners for smooth clearance and delivery.
• Track and monitor shipment status and provide updates and problem solving.
• Maintain records of shipments, documentation and financial data.
• Adhere to KPIs and deliver compliant audit scores.
• Stay informed on industry trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
