Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) in Seattle seeks an experienced Network Support Engineer to join the Global IP Desk. You will diagnose complex IP issues and coordinate with vendors to maintain the stability of the Financial Markets infrastructure.

In a customer-facing role, you will triage incidents, raise tickets, and work with NOC engineers to restore services quickly while delivering high-quality support to financial markets clients.

Qualifications

• TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS and routing knowledge (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS).
• Hands-on configuration of Cisco, Arista and Juniper routers and switches.
• ITIL Certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, communications software, and Visio.
• Strong multitasking and customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support of global large-scale TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS.
• Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco, Arista and Juniper routers and switches.
• Vendor management with Cisco and Juniper TAC for escalation.
• Second-level network and protocol troubleshooting and debugging.
• Coordinate network maintenance/change management per policy.
• Provide on-call escalation support on a rotating schedule.
• Incident management to restore services with minimal impact.
