Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a Network Operations Center engineer in Virginia to support the Financial Markets Global IP Desk. You will resolve complex IP network issues, manage incident tickets, and collaborate with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista hardware teams to maintain core services.

This customer-facing role requires strong TCP/IP, VPN and routing knowledge, ITIL familiarity, and the ability to work in a 24x7 rotation on a global team. Knowledge of financial markets is a plus.

Qualifications

• The role requires TCP/IP, VPN, and MPLS routing knowledge.
• The candidate should have hands-on experience configuring Cisco, Arista and Juniper devices.
• ITIL certification and experience with support environments are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for global TCP/IP, VPN, and MPLS networks.
• Troubleshoot Cisco, Arista, and Juniper routers and switches.
• Engage TAC with vendors and escalate issues as needed.
• Manage incidents to restore service with minimal impact.
• Work as part of a 24x7 global NOC rotation.
