Job summary
Transaction Network Services is seeking a Field Support Engineer to deliver on-site technical and non-technical product support for Financial Markets infrastructure in Illinois. Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in network operations and troubleshooting.
- Experience with financial markets or IP Desk preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- ITIL Certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide support of global TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS).
- Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco, Arista and Juniper devices.
- Coordinate with Cisco and Juniper TAC and escalate as needed.
- Second-level network and protocol troubleshooting and debugging.
- Provide on-call escalation support on a rotating schedule.
- Incident management to restore clients and networks with minimal impact.
- Monitor event management systems and inbound customer communications.
