Job summary

Transaction Network Services in Oregon seeks a Field Support Engineer to deliver on-site and remote technical support for the Financial Markets infrastructure. You will troubleshoot TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS networks, coordinate with Cisco/Juniper, and open tickets with vendor TAC.

You’ll join a global IP Desk with 24x7 coverage, participate in change management, and ensure rapid incident resolution to minimize downtime for clients.

Qualifications

• TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS and routing knowledge.
• Hands-on configuration of Cisco, Arista and Juniper routers and switches.
• ITIL Certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software, communications software, and Visio.
• Experience in financial industry support roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical or non-technical product support and service to customers.
• Raise incident tickets and manage them through to resolution.
• Coordinate with Cisco/Juniper TAC and vendors for escalation.
• Perform second-level network and protocol troubleshooting and debugging.
• Support 24x7 IP Desk coverage on a rotating schedule.
• Assist with change management and project handover readiness.
