Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) seeks a skilled IP Desk professional to support global TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks within the Financial Markets unit. You will troubleshoot routing and hardware across multiple vendors, coordinate change management, and participate in 24x7 coverage with a global team.

You will engage with customers and internal engineers to rapidly resolve incidents while maintaining service quality. A background in finance networks and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience with troubleshooting circuits.
• 3-5 years’ experience with Network Operations and Troubleshooting.
• Experience in a financial industry support role or with a Financial Markets provider.
• Understanding of Financial Markets (Equity, Futures, Options).
• Advanced knowledge of exchange market data and order routing protocols.
• Experience supporting multicast market data streams.
• Experience with Change Management Processes.
• Excellent communication, customer, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support of global TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS.
• Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco, Arista and Juniper routers and switches.
• Vendor management with Cisco and Juniper TAC.
• Second-level network and protocol troubleshooting and debugging.
• Coordinate, schedule and support network maintenance and changes per policy.
• Provide on-call escalation support on a rotating schedule.
• Incident management to restore services with minimal impact.
• Engage NOC engineers to close incidents with successful resolution.
