Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking an experienced Field Support Engineer to ensure the stability and availability of the Financial Markets infrastructure. The role covers global TCP/IP, VPN, and MPLS networks, with responsibilities spanning incident management, escalation, and hands-on routing configuration.

The position is customer-facing, requires solid networking knowledge, and involves coordination with NOC teams and vendor support to maintain service quality and uptime in a 24x7

Qualifications

• Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco, Arista and Juniper routers and switches.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software, communications software, and Visio.
• 3-5 years’ experience with Network Operations and Troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide support of global large scale TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks to include OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS protocols.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and incident response for IP networks.
• Vendor management with Cisco and Juniper TAC.
• Second-level network and protocol troubleshooting and debugging.
• Coordinate and support network maintenance and change management activities.
• Provide on-call escalation support on a rotating schedule.
• Incident management to restore services with minimal impact.
