Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the AIS Data Center Engineering team. You will own and continuously improve mechanical (cooling) infrastructure products across our rapidly expanding data center footprint, working with global suppliers and multiple stakeholders to ensure product reliability and performance.

The role involves hands-on mechanical and manufacturing experience, understanding of mechanical systems, and ability to manage design changes and life cycle

Qualifications

• Requires hands-on mechanical engineering experience with manufacturing aspects.
• Experience reviewing equipment submittals and engaging with suppliers.
• Ability to work across global teams and travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical infrastructure support for data center products and cooling systems.
• Collaborate with product development to understand all facets of each product.
• Lead design change evaluations, risk assessments, and remediation efforts.
