Job summary

AWS is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a global engineering team responsible for Mechanical (Cooling) infrastructure products in our rapidly expanding data center footprint. You will own and improve products through their lifecycle, collaborate with design teams, and work with global suppliers to design improvements.

Applicants should have hands-on mechanical experience, knowledge of data center equipment, and the ability to manage multiple projects across geographic zones, with travel

Qualifications

  • Hands-on mechanical engineering experience with cooling systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical components and systems.
  • Experience with lifecycle management of mechanical products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mechanical infrastructure support to AWS data centers.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to understand products during development and testing.
  • Own the product through its operational life and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead design reviews and coordinate with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
