Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Global Mechanical Product Lifecycle Engineer to own cooling infrastructure within AWS data centers.

You will collaborate with product teams, suppliers, and operations to ensure reliability and manufacturability across a global footprint. This role requires hands-on mechanical experience and the ability to lead lifecycle activities from concept through production, providing ownership during operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years developing mechanical cooling products.
• Hands-on trouble-shooting mechanical components and systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical infrastructure support to AWS data centers.
• Collaborate with product development to understand each product lifecycle.
• Lead design changes, risk evaluation and manufacturability improvements.
• Work with global suppliers and manufacturers on improvements.
• Support operations with failure analysis, maintenance and SOP reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement of mechanical systems at a global scale.
