Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a senior corporate/M&A attorney to deliver business-minded legal services across the global organization.

The role requires handling complex transactions from inception through post-closing integration and coordinating with Corporate Development and Strategy teams. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of corporate/M&A experience, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage outside counsel and cross-functional stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and state bar admission.
• Minimum 4+ years with demonstrated corporate/M&A expertise.
• Experience leading and coordinating complex transactions across a global organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, business-oriented, efficient legal advice and strategic counseling on significant transactions.
• Independently manage domestic and international M&A and strategic transactions from inception through closing.
• Draft and negotiate confidentiality agreements, LOIs/term sheets, and definitive agreements.
• Coordinate legal due diligence and translate findings into protections.
• Partner with Corporate Development, Strategy, Finance, Tax, and other teams throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Lead negotiations and manage external counsel and budgets.
