Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a senior Corporate/M&A attorney to provide practical, business-focused legal guidance across global transactions. The role involves leading domestic and international M&A, drafting agreements, and coordinating with Corporate Development, Finance, Tax, and other teams.

A J.D. from an accredited law school and state bar admission are required, with 4–8 years of experience. Excellent negotiation, project management, and leadership skills are essential to drive complex deals

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school and state bar admission.
4–8 years of experience as a lawyer with corporate/M&A expertise.
Experience leading domestic and international M&A and strategic transactions.
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage outside counsel.

Responsibilities

Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice on significant transactions.
Independently manage domestic and international M&A from inception to closing and post-closing integration.
Draft and negotiate confidentiality agreements, LOIs, term sheets, and definitive agreements.
Lead due diligence, identify risks, and tailor protections accordingly.
Collaborate with Corporate Development, Strategy, Finance, Tax, Compliance and HR.
