Job summary
FedEx Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented logistics clerk in Elk Grove Village to provide international forwarding and warehouse office support. You will enter data into the Warehouse Management System and assist with inbound/outbound operations, including cross-dock and FTZ activities, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and timely documentation.
The role requires HS Diploma/GED and at least one year of related warehouse or international freight forwarding experience.
Qualifications
- Data entry and accuracy are required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience in International Freight Forwarding is a plus.
- MS Office skills including Excel are essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide international forwarding and warehouse office support.
- Enter and analyze information into the warehouse management system.
- Support inbound/outbound office functions including cross-dock and FTZ.
- Perform timely data entry for milestones from internal and external sources.
- Communicate data discrepancies to management.
- Maintain accuracy of CFS, FTZ and other documents throughout their life cycle.
- Involved in billing activities.
- Review and submit for approval vendor payables.
- Coordinate warehouse and gateway activities efficiently.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
