AIT Worldwide Logistics, Inc. is seeking an International Operations Supervisor to oversee import/export and transshipment activities, ensuring on-time delivery and strict compliance with customs requirements.

You will lead the international operations team, train staff, assign work, and coordinate with global service providers to manage bookings and transfers. This role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment, with ITAR, ATA DGR,

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Some College/Associate's Degree preferred.
1+ years experience in people management.
3+ years experience in International Freight Forwarding operations.

Responsibilities

Supervise the import/export and transshipment of materials, equipment, products, packages and documents including fulfillment of customs requirements.
Hire, train and develop team to ensure company expectations are met and manage underperformance as necessary.
Provide guidance in import/export assignments and negotiation.
Interpret contract terms for export/import implications and provide direction in all phases of international logistics.
Support the development of policies and procedures to ensure on-schedule delivery of shipments and compliance with relevant regulations.
Operate the office when the manager is absent.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.
