Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics in Coppell, TX is seeking an International Operations Supervisor to oversee import/export, wiring in personnel and resources, and supervise international service providers. You will guide shipments, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive performance across the international department.

The role focuses on coaching a team, managing workflows, and maintaining strong liaison with vendors to ensure timely transfers and accurate documentation for international shipments.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years in people management (preferred)
• 3+ years in International Freight Forwarding operations (required)
• Ability to handle conflicts and resolve them positively
• Strong communication skills (oral & written)
• Able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Supervise import processes, including customs documentation and shipping
• Hire, train, and develop team; conduct weekly 1:1s and coaching
• Provide guidance on import/export assignments and negotiations
• Interpret contract terms for export/import implications
• Develop and enforce SOPs, KPIs, and compliance procedures
• Manage office operations in manager's absence
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Ensure adherence to policies and standards
