Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Some College/Associate's Degree is preferred.
• 1+ years experience in people management is preferred.
• 3+ years experience in International Freight Forwarding operations is required.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong written and spoken communication are important.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the import process, customs documentation, shipping, and receiving of foreign shipments.
• Hire, train and develop team; manage performance through KPI metrics and career-path discussions.
• Provide guidance in import/export assignments and negotiations.
• Interpret contract terms for export/import implications and guide all phases of international logistics.
• Help develop SOPs, KPIs, trainings and ensure on-schedule delivery of shipments.
• Oversee operation of the office when the manager is absent.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
• Salary wage range noted: $72,840.00-$109,260.00; varies by geography and experience.
