Job summary

Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. is seeking a full-time on-site Account Manager to manage and coordinate activities for assigned accounts, supervising staff and aligning service delivery with client needs.

You will serve as the main customer contact, focus on identifying opportunities, coordinate with warehouses, and compile KPI reports to track performance and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in distribution/logistics administration or operations.
• Experience in over-the-road inbound and outbound transportation administration or operations.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key point of contact with the customer.
• Focus the sales effort around identifying and fulfilling customers' current and future needs.
• Help identify opportunities where Company services fit the customer's ongoing business strategy.
• Speak with customers by phone or in person and receive instructions for shipment, storing, delivery, or general processing.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to oversee incoming and outgoing account activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
• Prepare daily and monthly KPI reports.
