Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to identify and understand customers' transportation needs, booking and scheduling orders to ensure timely freight movement. The role emphasizes customer focus, problem solving, and strong interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional service.

You will handle domestic shipments, coordinate freight, monitor from pickup to delivery, and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements, contributing to reliable, high-quality logistics support.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service for internal and external customers.
• Build relationships with customers, carriers, and Expeditors offices.
• Proactively communicate shipment updates, exceptions, and solutions.
• Review shipment requirements and transportation needs.
• Create and process domestic transportation shipments.
• Coordinate freight movement and monitor shipments from pickup through delivery.
• Resolve shipment exceptions and service issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry into Expeditors operating systems.
• Monitor exception reports and resolve data discrepancies.
• Process customer invoicing accurately and promptly.
• Verify carrier costs and ensure proper billing provisions.
• Follow credit approval processes to minimize financial risk.
