Job summary

Expeditors is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to identify and understand customer transportation needs, book shipments, and ensure timely movement of freight. You will maintain carrier relations, process documentation, and support continuous improvements in service delivery.

Responsibilities include handling customer inquiries, coordinating domestic transportation, and ensuring accurate invoicing and data entry in Expeditors systems.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Transportation, logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service for internal and external customers.
• Build strong relationships with customers, carriers, and Expeditors offices.
• Proactively communicate shipment updates, exceptions, and solutions.
• Review shipment requirements and transportation needs.
• Coordinate freight movement and monitor shipments from pickup through delivery.
• Resolve shipment exceptions and service issues promptly.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely data entry into Expeditors operating systems.
• Process customer invoicing accurately and promptly.
• Verify carrier costs and ensure proper billing provisions.
