Job summary

Expeditors in the United States is seeking a Transportation Specialist to execute standard workflows, resolve issues, and drive carrier performance. You will coordinate with customers, 3PLs, carriers, and warehouses to meet KPIs and OKRs.

The role requires 2–4 years in logistics, knowledge of ERP/TMS/WMS, and strong communication. You will analyze data, optimize transportation, and support domestic and international shipments while maintaining service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics and/or transportation.
• Solid experience with logistics software and systems (ERP, TMS, WMS).
• Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Effective communication, negotiation and issue-resolution skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and make decisions.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Self-starter with ability to triage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute standard operational workflows to manage the flow of goods and materials by coordinating with customers, 3PLs, carriers, and warehouses to meet KPIs and OKRs (e.g., OTIF).
• Proactively identify and resolve operational issues impacting customer satisfaction and improve overall experience.
• Arrange transportation for shipments considering cost, transit time, and mode of transport; handle escalations.
• Drive carrier and service provider performance for Hub and Spoke locations.
• Manage transportation for warehouse inbound/outbound activities and capacity management.
• Support data collection and analytics to improve transportation efficiency at assigned locations.
• Coordinate with multiple parties to resolve delivery issues and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as a primary contact for internal departments, vendors, and customers on logistics inquiries.
