Job summary

Expeditors is seeking an Export Clerk to assist the Export Department in moving freight efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service. You will prepare documentation, coordinate with vendors for space, and ensure timely billing and data entry.

You will work under supervision to maintain KPI standards, support system processes, and mentor junior team members as needed. The role requires attention to compliance and internal procedures.

Qualifications

• 2 years of industry specific qualification (country specific).
• Good market and product knowledge.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including listening, comprehending, and communicating clearly.
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills.
• Hazardous Materials certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Prepare various documents for international transportation.
• Coordinate and negotiate rates with vendors for space and services.
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing.
• Ensure accurate data entry into the operating system.
• Interact with customers arranging international export shipments and meet service standards.
• Follow OPS and external regulations and company policies.
• Monitor shipment reports to ensure total customer satisfaction.
