Job summary

Expeditors is a global logistics company headquartered in Seattle, Washington, seeking a logistics professional to ensure smooth freight flow, accurate data entry, tracking, and timely billing and delivery. The role involves coordinating with customers and vendors to meet service standards and maintain strong supplier relationships.

You will support compliance, respond to inquiries promptly, and help uphold KPI targets while growing within a company that promotes from within.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Understanding of ocean documentation process a plus
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
• Pro‑active, strong organizational skills
• Hazardous Materials certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
• Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable
• Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standards
• Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
• Meet compliance at all times?
• Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
• Understand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs
