Job summary

Expeditors International is seeking a logistics account manager in the Los Angeles area to maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts. You will understand client business, coordinate with departments, and drive service excellence across the supply chain.

You should have strong English communication, 3+ years in Expeditors or the industry, and be proficient with MS Office and CRM systems. Excellent organizational and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• No visa sponsorship required now or in future
• Ability to work overtime to meet department needs
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM software
• Able to communicate clearly with management and teams
• 3+ years Expeditors’ or industry experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of existing identified accounts and improve customer service
• Strengthen relationships with accounts and penetrate organizational structures
• Understand customers’ business and our role with them
• Ensure customer satisfaction and follow up
• Communicate service issues to managers and supervisors
• Identify opportunities and grow business from existing house accounts
• Assist with collections when needed
• Manage client profiles and CRM updates
• Produce territory maps showing account distribution
• Lead efficient delivery of branch services
• Support invoicing and payment processes
